PRS Paul Reed Smith EG-II with nitro burgundy mist refin

Made in USA 1993 Paul Reed Smith EG-II guitar with the Lindy Fralin designed zero noise coil domino pickups in the neck and middle, and the PRS HFS humbucker in the bridge. To hear this guitar in action, check out this video.

When this came to us, it was in pretty rough shape, as the original thick black polyester finish was pretty scuffed up and the original PRS Phase I locking tuners had been replaced with different machine heads. We sourced another set of the winged locking tuners and our friend Boot Arreola at BA Ferguson guitars refinished the guitar and headstock in a gorgeous, matching nitrocellulose burgundy mist metallic. The PRS locking tuners were installed and the holes from the replacement tuners were elegantly doweled as a repair.

The PRS bridge humbucker in normal mode is a lot hotter and punchier than the Fralin dominos, so we modded the push-pull for a tweaked version of the coil split that gets the bridge pickup to more closely match the response and output of neck and middle pickups when activated.

In very good condition – one small hairline finish crack where the neck joins the body, but the joint itself is rock solid and this guitar FLIES, it plays so well!
